My grandpop had an amazing gift with animals. Throughout his whole life, he'd always have an animal around him and that is what I liked best about him. At times, he would be gruff and hard to deal with, but he always cared for, loved, and spoiled his animals. He would have some of the meanest pets at times, like Bridgette(Dog), Tagalong(Cat), and Friday(Cat); but they always loved him and treated him better than anyone else. He would have cats that would visit him on his back porch in Delaware, like Tagalong, who would was his special guest for years, and other ones like Lightfoot and Matilda, and the neighborhood dogs would all like to come over and visit him too. He taught me to embrace and love animals from an early age; I mean I was still in diapers and I was playing with Quincy from across the street. I inherited a lot of traits from my grandfather, but the one I like most is my gift with animals; something I surely got from him. I'll miss you Grandpop, but I think you are probably having a nice reunion up in heaven.
