Frank Anthony Marantino's Obituary
Mr. Frank Anthony Marantino, a proud veteran and lifelong mechanic, passed away peacefully at home on April 27, 2026. He was 80 years old.
Frank was born on May 8, 1945, in Newark, New Jersey, to the late Ceaser J. Marantino and Helen Marantino (Urban). He was raised in East Newark, New Jersey and graduated from Harrison High School. Following high school, Frank attended trade school and pursued his passion for working with his hands, becoming a skilled mechanic.
In 1965, Frank enlisted in the United States Army, serving honorably until 1968. His time in the military reflected his strong sense of duty and commitment. In 1969, he married Beatrice Ann Marantino (Caputo), with whom he shared many meaningful years.
Frank spent the majority of his career following the Army working as a mechanic, earning a reputation for his skill, reliability, and dedication. He eventually settled in Delaware, where he enjoyed a quieter life.
He was a proud Freemason, embracing their values of brotherhood and service. Frank found great joy in the outdoors and especially loved fishing, boating, and camping. He was also known for his compassion and deep love for animals.
Frank will be remembered for his quiet strength, kind heart, and unwavering work ethic. He was preceded in death by his beloved wife, Beatrice, as well as his parents, Ceaser J. Marantino and Helen Marantino. He leaves behind extended family and friends who will cherish his memory.
