Francis Thomas Padula's Obituary
Francis Thomas Padula, Jr., age 79, of Lewes, DE, passed away Wednesday, April 8, 2009, at his residence surrounded by his family. He was born February 16, 1930 in Bushkill, PA, son of the late Francis T. Padula, Sr. and Pearl (Klump) Padula.
Mr. Padula owned and operated Padula Construction, an excavating and paving company. He was a member of the Order of the Redmen, Indian River Tribe #37, Nassau, DE. He enjoyed NASCAR racing and traveling. He was a wonderful husband, father, grandfather and great-grandfather. He served with the U.S. Marine Corps during the Korean Conflict.
He is survived by his beloved wife of 33 years Dawne Padula; five sons, Leslie Padula and wife Donna of Stroudsburg, PA, Frank Pinto, Jr. and wife Karen of Bangor, PA, Michael Pinto of Bradenton, FL, Mark Pinto and wife Veronica of Bangor, PA, and John Pinto of Atlanta, GA; one daughter Kim Webb and husband Fred of Lewes, DE; five grandchildren, Todd Pinto, Adriana Pinto and Alexa Pinto all of Bangor, PA, Duwane Emerick, and Kristy Thibault and husband Dustin all of Lewes; one great-granddaughter, Kayla Pinto of Bangor, PA; and his sister Beatrice Beam of Allentown, PA.
