Frances Herb's Obituary
Frances (Price) Herb, age 82, of Lewes, DE, formerly of Bechtelsville, PA, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, May 7, 2008 at Beebe Medical Center in Lewes surrounded by her loved ones. Mrs. Herb was born August 24, 1925 in Green Lane, PA, daughter of the late Martin and Katie (Myers) Price.
Mrs. Herb retired in 1987 from the Harness House in New Berlinville, PA where she had worked as an Office Clerk. Frances and her husband relocated to Lewes 12 years ago.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by one sister and three brothers. She is survived by her loving husband of 39 years, Robert W. Herb; four daughters: Patricia Martin of Red Hill, PA. Marie Gresh of Bechtelsville, PA, Helen Heydt and her husband Kenneth of Lewes, and Florence Griffith of Lewes; 11 grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren; three great-great-grandchildren; and three sisters.
All services and interment will be private. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorial contributions be made to the American Cancer Society, P.O. Box 163, Salisbury, MD 21803.
