Frances "Betty" E. Gorbey's Obituary
Frances E. "Betty" Gorbey, age 91 of Lewes, DE (formerly of Chester, PA) passed away on January 27, 2016. She was born April 11, 1924 in Philadelphia, PA, to the late Robert and Elizabeth (Willis) Patton. In addition to her parents, Mrs. Gorbey was predeceased by her husband, Frank. She is survived by her three children: Frank and his wife Ellen, Janis Miller and her husband Tom, and Mark and his wife Debi; nine grandchildren; 10 great grandchildren; and two brothers: William and Thomas Patton.
Mrs. Gorbey was an avid reader who enjoyed spending time with her family. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother and sister.
A graveside service for her friends and family will be held at the Media Cemetery, 1100 N. Orange Street, Media, PA at noon on February 27, 2016.
