Florence D. Gange's Obituary
Florence Diane Gange peacefully passed away at her home on Monday, March 10, after a three-year courageous battle with pancreatic cancer. She was surrounded by her husband, Pete, and twin daughters, Erin and Lisa. Flo was born on April 29, 1954, in Philadelphia, PA, to John and Lucille Correnti. After graduating from Plattsburgh College and earning a Master's in Teaching from St. Bonaventure University, Flo moved to New Jersey, where she met her husband, Pete, at her first teaching job and later welcomed two daughters and two dogs.
As an English teacher, Flo naturally loved to read and spent her retirement in Rehoboth Beach, Delaware, reading outside. Flo also loved to cook and travel, eagerly trying new recipes and even taking a cooking class in Sorrento, Italy! She loved going to the beach, seeing plays and jazz festivals, and being surrounded by family and friends. Her spirit will live on with her loved ones.
Flo's family will be holding a Celebration of Life ceremony at their home in late April.
