Florence I. Divan's Obituary
Florence Tindall Henry Divan, age 89, passed away at her home in Lewes, DE, on Wednesday, November 1, 2006. Mrs. Divan was born October 4, 1917, in Philadelphia, PA, daughter of the late George W. and Florence (Chapin) Tindall.
She was originally from Norwood, PA and later Concordville, PA and Mesa, AZ.
Mrs. Divan was predeceased by two husbands, Paul R. Henry in 1962 and Louis S. Divan in 1993, along with several brothers and sisters.
She is survived by two daughters, Barbara A. Leto and her husband Carmen of Lewes, and step-daughter, Marilyn Morrow and her husband Rev. John of Pine Beach, NJ; two sons, Paul T. Henry of Appleton, WI and step-son, Louis Divan and his wife Pam of Pinnacle, NC; 12 grandchildren; 23 great-grandchildren; and one beloved sister, Doris Keil and her husband Donald M. of Decatur, AL.
A memorial service and burial will be held at a later date at Arlington Cemetery, 2900 State Road, Drexel Hill, PA.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions will be gratefully accepted by the Lewes Fire Department, P.O. Box 225, Lewes, DE 19958 or the Beebe Medical Foundation, 902 Savannah Road, Lewes, DE 19958.
