Everett Samuel Warrington's Obituary
Everett Samuel Warrington, age 76, of Bridgeville, DE, passed away on Thursday, November 13, 2014 at his home. He was born in Bridgeville, DE, on May 15, 1938, son of the late Samuel I. and Cora (Seely) Warrington.
Mr. Warrington graduated from Bridgeville High School in 1956. Following his graduation, he proudly served in the US National Guard. Mr. Warrington was an ambitious individual who through his many years of hard work became a successful self-employed mechanical contractor. He owned and operated the Total Mechanical Contractor business in Bridgeville, DE.
Mr. Warrington's greatest joy in life was spending his spare time with his beloved family and friends. He also enjoyed traveling and camping, going to Stock car races, singing and playing the piano. Mr. Warrington sang and played gospel music at various churches in the community. He will be dearly missed by all of his family and friends.
In addition to his parents, Mr. Warrington was preceded in death by his daughter, Linda Warrington, his son and daughter-in-law, Keith and Janice Warrington. He is survived by his loving wife of 54 years, Catherine Warrington of Bridgeville, DE; three granddaughters: Rebecca Warrington, Renee Parker and her husband Grant and Rhonda Calvanesa and her husband Mark all of Bridgeville, DE; a great-granddaughter, Kendall Calvanesa of Bridgeville, DE; two sisters: Joyce Simpson of Newark, DE and Janice Melson and her husband, Richard, of Wilmington, DE; six nephews and their families and numerous cousins.
A Funeral Service will be held on Tuesday, November 18, 2014, at 1:00 PM, at Parsell Funeral Homes & Crematorium, Hardesty Chapel, 202 Laws Street, Bridgeville, DE, where friends may call beginning at 12:00 PM Noon. Friends may also call on Monday, November 17, 2014 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the funeral home. Interment will follow the Funeral Service on Tuesday, November 18, 2014 at Bridgeville Cemetery, Market & Laws Streets, Bridgeville, DE.
