Evan Alan Cross' Obituary
Evan Alan Cross of Milton, Delaware passed away suddenly on Wednesday, November 26th, 2025 at the age of 74. Evan is survived by his wife Robyn (nee Golden), his son Randy (nee Laura) and his daughter Amy (Andrey Dobrikov). He is also survived by his Grandsons, Aiden, Joshua and Noah Cross, and Ian Dobrikov, his sister BVJ Swedzinski and his nieces KCJ and Nikki. He was predeceased by his parents Dan and Arlene Cross.
Originally from the Philadelphia area, Evan moved to Pennsauken, New Jersey in his teens.
After attending American University and graduating from Adelphi University, he received 2 Master's Degrees from Florida Atlantic University. His career began with Urban Planning, followed by Public Works Administration for multiple cities. Later he progressed to Property Management and then after many years as Assistant Director became Director of Physical Plant at Florida Atlantica University in Boca Raton, Florida. Evan resided in Florida for over 50 years before he & Robyn moved to Milton, Delaware in 2022.
Evan had a great sense of humor and was an avid sports fan, with his favorite Florida Teams, the Marlins and Dolphins. He was a British History aficionado, and entertainment & music enthusiast enjoying concerts, movies and theater. Evan played the drums and was learning the guitar. Coming from a very musical family Evan passed those talents on to Randy and Amy and his grandsons. His sudden passing leaves a void for all who knew and loved him.
Funeral Services will be held on Sunday, November 30, 2025 at 11:00 AM at Parsell Funeral Homes and Crematorium, Atkins - Lodge Chapel, 16961 Kings Highway, Lewes, DE 19958. A visitation for family and friends will begin at 10:00 AM, prior to the service. Interment at Cedar Park Cemetery, Paramus, NJ at a later date.
