Jean and I go all the way back to 1975. She was married to Russ Toni then and living on Spring Rd. then Livingston Dr Our children and Jean's sons Mike and Robby went to school together at Montowese Grammar School. Jean, Janet Smith, and Jane Guercia were close friends. We supported each other through many crises including Jean's divorce and the death of my mom. We lunched many times together, we were on the same bowling league and we would travel to Newport, RI or Kittery, ME on a whim. We would shop till we dropped at the outlet stores in Kittery. We would lunch at the Weathervane across from the outlets. We were young homemakers sharing our free time together. We would Christmas shop in New Haven mall. We babysat each other's kids. We were pretty much in daily contact with each other. Summer time was especially fun because the tight school schedule didn't leave a whole lot of get together time. We enjoyed 'Happy Hours" on my back porch. Our favorite lunch place was Rustic Oak in the center of North Haven. Much later, years actually, we became Facebook friends and I truly enjoyed that "electronic" friendship. I'll truly miss Jean, with all my heart. My heartfelt sympathies to her children and extended family. Love, Linda D'Amico
