Eugenia Pakulis' Obituary
Eugenia (Slenys) Pakulis, age 83, of Rehoboth Beach, DE died Saturday, August 11, 2007, at Harbor Healthcare & Rehab. Center in Lewes, DE. Mrs. Pakulis was born in Kaunas, Lithuania. She had been employed as an editor and translator for the U.S.Government in Washington, D.C. She was fluent in five languages: Lithuanian, English, French, German, and Russian. She retired in 1982 and moved to Rehoboth Beach, DE. She enjoyed reading and poetry. Mrs. Pakulis was a very vivacious lady. She was known for her love of animals and for rescuing many stray cats.
She is survived by her husband of 62 years Casimir Pakulis of Rehoboth Beach.
Graveside Services will be held at Epworth Methodist Cemetery, Henlopen Avenue, Rehoboth Beach, DE at 10:00 AM, Friday, August 17, 2007.
