Eugene Nicholas Melchiorre III's Obituary
Eugene Nicholas Melchiorre III, age 62 of Rehoboth Beach, DE passed away on Saturday, March 18, 2023. He was born on June 23, 1960 in Philadelphia, PA, son of Dolores Josephine (DeMaio) Melchiorre and the late Eugene Melchiorre, Jr.
Mr. Melchiorre attended Sun Valley High School in Boothwyn, PA. He was a proud veteran, having honorably served in the US Army. An outdoorsman to his core, Mr. Melchiorre enjoyed fishing and camping. His skilled artisanship was evidenced by his love of creating jewelry and working with gemstones. Mr. Melchiorre truly treasured time spent with his family, above all. He was a loving and devoted son, brother, cousin, and friend. Loved by many, he will be forever missed by all who were fortunate enough to know him.
In addition to this father, Mr. Melchiorre was preceded in death by his brother, James T. Melchiorre; and his cousin, Frank DeMaio. He is survived by his beloved mother, Dolores Melchiorre; his aunts: Caroline Melchiorre and Anna Taylor, both of Aston, PA; his uncle, Patrick Melchiorre of Aston, PA; his cousins: Debbie Russell and Alex DeMaio of Newark, DE; Linda Riley (Mark) of Plantation, FL, and Sandy Richabaugh of Millsboro, DE; and his beloved dog, Harry.
