Estelle was a larger than life person! We would always poke fun of her accent (which she always claimed she didn’t have!). She had a tremendous sense of humor and her willingness to give to others was inspirational. Whether it was raising funds and getting Christmas gifts for the kids at Nana’s House to her habit of “Drive by Pet Gifting” (this is when Estelle would slow down to people she knew and handed them a kitten or puppy she found that needed a good home, she would then drive off leaving the stunned person with a pet!).
We will all miss you Estelle and know that we will all meet again. Until then amiga, enjoy organizing charity events in Heaven.
We loved to talk about our shared Delaware experiences. My husband's family beach house in Bethany and our love for the restaurants in Lewes.
I am sorry to hear of the loss of Estelle. She was always nice to me and made me feel good when she was around. Although I had not seen Estelle in some time, I enjoyed her Facebook posts. Estelle will be missed.

A lady of fire, passion, humour, and love. My husband and I met Estelle through our shared love for the children and teens of Nana’s Casa. Estelle’s thoughtful and energetic approach to engaging others in encouraging and supporting those children whose lives had been decimated through circumstances not of their choosing, will be greatly missed. She brought hope and love where it was needed, when it was needed, in a way that made a difference to so many.
Estelle will be missed.
