Emilia Caraballo's Obituary
Emilia was born on May 8th, 1948, in Las Piedras, Puerto Rico, daughter of the late Juan and Luisa Ramos. Emilia was the only girl of eight siblings. She came to New York at a very young age and established herself and later married and started a family in The Bronx, New York. In 2019 she moved to Lewes, Delaware.
Emilia is survived by her husband, Enrique Caraballo, Jr; her two daughters: Marilyn and Melissa; her granddaughter Amethyst, her grandson Naseem and her great grandson Abriel.
Besides spending time with her daughters and grandchildren. Emilia enjoyed reading magazines, shopping, cooking, dancing, traveling and had a good sense of style. Her favorite holiday was Christmas and looked forward to decorating and cooking traditional food to enjoy with her family.
Emilia had a vibrant and energetic personality. She touched many lives with her love and will be greatly missed.
A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, July 13, 2021, at 11:00 AM at Parsell Funeral Homes and Crematorium, Atkins-Lodge Chapel, 16961 Kings Highway, Lewes, DE, where friends may call beginning at 10:00 AM. Interment will follow the service at St. Peter's Cemetery,660 Pilottown Road, Lewes, DE 19958.
Social distancing protocols must be observed, and masks must be worn by everyone participating in any aspect of the service.
