Emidio Zalewski's Obituary
Emidio Zalewski, age 64 of Millsboro, DE, passed away unexpectedly on Monday, January 23, 2017, at his home. He was born on Sunday, July 20, 1952 in Chester, PA, son of the late Joseph and Erminia (Ragni) Zalewski.
Mr. Zalewski was a proud US Army and Army Reserve Veteran. He made a lifelong career, spanning decades, as an aircraft painter for Boeing in Ridley Park, PA. Mr. Zalewski enjoyed taking long walks and was an avid Philadelphia Phillies and Eagles fan. He cherished spending time with his beloved grandchildren. He was a loving and devoted father, grandfather, brother, uncle, and friend, and he will be genuinely missed by all who were blessed to know him.
In addition to his parents, Mr. Zalewski was preceded in death by his daughter, Kristina Maisano; his brothers: Joseph Zalewski, Edward Zalewski, and Andrew Zalewski; and his uncle, Joe Ragni. He is survived by his son, Joseph Maisano of Millsboro, DE; his daughter, Savannah Maisano of Millsboro, DE; his brothers: Victor Zalewski of Folsom, PA, and Steven Zalewski of Eddystone, PA; his sisters: Mary Wagoner of Pottstown, PA and Rose Glover of Millsboro, DE; his grandchildren: Emidio Jarvis and Star Jarvis; his many nieces, nephews, great-nieces, great-nephews, great-great-nieces and great-great-nephews; and his good friends: Sheree Maisano of Millsboro, DE and Linda McDonald of Eddystone, PA.
Memorial Services will be held on Friday, February 3, 2017 at 11:00 AM at Parsell Funeral Homes and Crematorium, Atkins-Lodge Chapel, 16961 Kings Highway, Lewes DE 19958, where friends may visit beginning at 10:00 AM. Interment will be private.
Memorial contributions in Mr. Zalewski's name may be made to any Veterans charity of your choice.
