Ann, I have such wonderful memories of times spent with your entire family when we were growing up. I always considered your Mother to be my second Mom. I am so grateful I had the opportunity to visit and go to dinner with you guys and her last April. My favorite quote by Maya Angelou, "I've learned that people will forget what you said, people will forget what you did, but people will never forget how you made them feel." I shared this with your Mom last Mother's day in a card I sent to her. I wanted your Mom to know how truly special she will always be to me.

So thank you Mom Renshaw for always listening with genuine interest, encouraging me with gentle kindness and wisdom, and for making me feel appreciated and loved. I will love you forever.

Aunt Sis (as my Dad always called her) will always have a very special place in my heart. She was always so gentle and loving. I loved those summer reunions when we would dig for pennies in (I think) sawdust. When I was young I visited Ann in the city for a week. I was a little nervous about it, but of course Aunt Sis made me feel so comfortable and right at home! As an adult, I grew to love and appreciate her even more. She was an amazing person with a gentle spirit. Like Kelton when I think of her it will be a reminder for me to carry on the beautiful traits of genuine love and kindness that she carried within her. The memories of Aunt Sis are very dear to my heart, and I am comforted to know that I will always carry them within me. My love and blessings to you all, Beth

She was gentle , thoughtful and above all caring. She laughed easily and was very organized . I have many memories of her but the one that always stays with me is how she always fought for her daughters and protect and loved them every chance she had . She could not see them unhappy even a moment long and did everything in her means to provide that emotional support. To my daughter she was not only a great grand mother but often a friend who could stay up all night long and listen to her stories. She had a big heart that almost everyone she knew had a place in there . My distant family from Iran , thought of her as a saint and worshiped as such . I never forget how she patiently listened while my Mom talked for hours long even though she could not understand a word she said , now that's love and caring.

Dear Debi, Bill and Family,

My beautiful little Elva Mae, you will be sorely missed! From speeding around the circle in your car, to that twinkle in her eyes, she was a very special person. My fondest memory is when I was introduced to her and told her name was Sue, I took one look at her and said "that's not your name, you don't look like a Sue!" She then proceeded to tell me her real name of Elva Mae, which I said, that's what I am going to call you then! I thought it was a fitting name for an exceptional lady. Debi and Bill, we are here for you and will continue to pray for healing while you deal with this loss. Love you all!
