Ms. Elsie, I think of you every single day. I miss you as if you were my Nonna because that’s just how much you meant to me. It’s been an honor to care for you and to be apart of your life for 2 years. I cherish every hug, laugh and kiss you shared with me and the impact you’ve made in my healthcare journey. A heart like yours could never be duplicated but yet you sprinkled a piece of it in each of your children, grandchildren, etc. They’re all so sweet and kind just as you were. A true matriarch. I have so many fond memories of going to the beach on Massachusetts Ave with my dear friend Tricia & all the "Newshams" next door . It makes me smile to remember all those good times. Our deepest condolences to everyone in the Newsham Family on the loss of Elsie. May the many beautiful memories of her lift you up and give you strength during your grief. John & I will always be grateful to Elsie, for being the matchmaker and bringing us together on that fateful day in June 1992 in her backyard. She will be missed.
