Such a sweet lady I had the pleasure to meet! She loved my coconut cream eggs and we would laugh at her telling me how she would have to hide them so Douglas wouldn't eat hers! She was a huge supporter of our truck show and she will be missed by many! Always smiling even when she wasn't feeling the best. I will miss our chats and that smile!
Just found out about this. Deeply saddened by Ellen's passing. Ellen was a wonderful and respectful person to my wife and myself. She was trusting and heart-warming at all times.

A dynamo with a quick wit, spoke her mind and was a thoughtful teacher, good friend and a wonderful flower girl.
I was best friends with Ellen's husband since High School and after his untimely death, my wife and I, remained close with Ellen. We would meet for lunch several times during the summers and catch up with the latest in our lives. She has fought a courageous battle with cancer and maintained a positive attitude throughout. Our deepest and sincere condolences go out to Chris, Sarah , and Blake as well as Douglas and Ellen's beloved 3 grandchildren, as well as her sister Jennifer. Although we cannot be there for her memorial service, our thoughts and prayers will be with the family during this difficult time.
