Betsy and Howard and Rudy and I shared many Friday nights listening to live piano music and shared great conversatìon helping all rewind from dsea business. We all enjoyed dsea business but the Friday nights were quite pleasant. Thanks for sharing your mother during those times. My thoughts and prayers are with you. Barbara Morris
Every once in a while, each of us is, or certainly should be gifted enough to get to meet, at least, a Betsy. She caused lights to illuminate in your world and mine whenever she was in the area. She imagined...and all who were around began to think. She disciplined...and all within the area of vibration were educated...or at least 'alerted'. Some are teachers and she was all of that and so much more. Some are friends and she was sanctified as such for me. I had but a decade plus to wallow in her caring and demonstrable courage...but it lasted for all the decades later. I was sad to hear of Betsy passing away. She was a great advocate, out of the box thinker, and a good colleague. It was my privilege to have worked with both Betsy and Howard. Tammy, know that I am sending warm condolences to you and others in the family.

Tammy, I am so sorry to hear about the loss of your mother. She was a good friend and my co-worker when we worked at the Delaware State Education Association. My husband Bill and I took great trips with her and Howard and our friends, Jim and Wanda Caruth. Those were the days! Betsy was always fun and creative, and our kids referred to her fondly as “the puzzle lady.” Reading about her now reminds me of all those wonderful times. I am saddened by her loss.
