Elizabeth Anne Bleile's Obituary
Elizabeth Anne Bleile of Seaford passed away peacefully on Tuesday, June 4th at the Delaware Hospice in Milford DE, after a five-year battle with breast cancer. She was born on March 31, 1981, in Salisbury, MD and is the daughter of Anne and Gene Bleile of Seaford.
Elizabeth was a straight A graduate of Seaford High School in 1999 and swam on the first Lady Blue Jays swim team, where she earned numerous first place medals and was selected to swim in the Delaware State Championship swim meet. She also played flute in the high school band for four years.
In 2004, she graduated from Salisbury University with honors in the field of education, later she added a Master's degree in Elementary Reading. Elizabeth taught first grade at Central Elementary and West Seaford Elementary for an outstanding twenty-one-year career. Not only did she love teaching, but had a passion for Phillies baseball, Steelers football, the beach and family gatherings. She especially loved her niece Madyson and nephew Chase.
Elizabeth had a warm smile and a personality that would bring joy, not only to her students, but to any one that she met in her travels. She was loved by her co-workers, family, friends and the nursing staff, who treated her.
She is survived by her parents, Anne and Gene Bleile of Seaford; her maternal grandmother, Edna Hatfield of Dover; her brother and sister-in-law, Michael and Kate and niece Madyson and nephew Chase Bleile of Salisbury, MD; her uncle Chris Hatfield of Front Royal, VA; cousins, Brady Hatfield and his wife Elisa and family of Richmond, VA; E8 SFC Brendan Hatfield, and his wife Andrea of Olympia, WA; Bridget Bitely and her husband Jeremy and family, of New Orleans, LA. Uncle Scott Bleile and his wife Kay of Seaford, DE and cousins, Scott Bleile Jr. and family of Millsboro, DE and Heather Hearn and husband Kyle and family of Seaford, DE.

Family and friends may call for visitation on Friday, June 14, 2024, at Parsell Funeral Home on Laws Street in Bridgeville, DE from 5:00 PM until 8:00 PM.
The funeral service will be Saturday, June 15, 2024, at Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church, Seaford, at 11:00 AM. The burial at Odd Fellows Cemetery will be followed by fellowship and refreshments at Heritage Shores Clubhouse in the ballroom from 1:30 PM to 5:30 PM.
