The day I meet Ms. Betty I will never forget she said come show me the hole in your head , and I'll show you my big lips ... From that moment on we became friends . she always gave me great advice .. Lunch and dinners , were always entertaining.. Never went anywhere she didn't know someone

We have lost a great historian of the better days for the Lewes/Rehoboth areas. Mrs. Hill was a witty, energetic, no nonsense woman who set the bar very high for those who follow her. A living example of what a woman could achieve with confidence and a plan, she's set an example for her kids, grandkids and loved ones. I'll miss her glowing eyes and smile and dinners. May she be resting in the peace which passes all understanding. May her daughters find solace in her memories. Miss Betty, you will be missed!!

My sincere condolences to Janey, Cyndi , and Shelly, and their extended families during the recent loss of their mother Betty.
Many fond memories of working for Betty and Mike at their late, great Cape Henlopen Motel during my college days and beyond! Their genuine hospitality and generous contributions to women's sports in the Cape region will never be forgotten. Betty may have been small in stature but she always ruled the roost! She will be missed.
