Elizabeth "Betty" Pearl Godleski's Obituary
Elizabeth "Betty" Pearl Godleski, age 71, of Bridgeville, DE, and formerly of Baltimore, MD, passed away peacefully with her family by her side on Saturday, July 8, 2023, at TidalHealth Nanticoke. She was born on July 30, 1951, in Baltimore, MD, daughter of the late William and Florence (Glenn) Reisinger.
Mrs. Godleski married her childhood sweetheart and lifelong partner, John Henry Godleski Jr. and the two would spend 53 beautiful years together raising their family and creating many cherished memories. She loved dolphins and crabs and relaxing on the beach. Mrs. Godleski truly treasured time spent with her friends and family, above all. She was a loving and nurturing mother, grandmother, great grandmother, and friend. She was loved by many and her presence will be forever missed by all who were fortunate enough to know her.
Mrs. Godleski was predeceased by her son John H. Godleski lll; her brother, Leroy Reisinger; and her sisters, Doris (Reisinger) Bohle, and Catherine (Reisinger )Williams. She is survived by her husband,John H. Godleski, Jr; her son, David Godleski (Tina Torres) of Dundalk, MD; her daughter, Sandra McCann (Russ Dayton) of Brooklyn Park, MD; her daughter-in-law, Stacey Godleski of Pasadena, MD; her grandchildren: Samantha, Andrew, Ryan, Alyssa, Dustin, John, Dylan, and Jeff; her great granddaughter Bryanna; her brother, William Reisinger; her sister, Thelma Musgrove; her nephew, Donald Musgrove (Linda); and many nieces and nephews.
Funeral Services will be held on Thursday, July 13, 2023, at 3:00 PM, at Parsell Funeral Homes & Crematorium Hardesty Chapel, 202 Laws Street, Bridgeville, DE, where friends may call beginning at 1:00 PM.
