Elenor E. Bennett's Obituary
Elenor Louise (Edmondson) Bennett, age 85 of Millsboro, DE, passed away peacefully with her family and friends by her side on Saturday, January 23, 2021. She was born on October 20, 1935 in Clinton, MD, daughter of the late Leonard W. and Lillian E. (Evans) Edmondson.
For many years Mrs. Bennett worked as an account clerk at Prince George's Community College. On June 8, 1965 she married the love of her life, Charles E. Bennett Sr. in Forestville, MD. Above all, Elenor cherished time spent with those she held most dear. She was a loving and devoted wife, mother, grandmother, and friend who will be deeply missed by all who knew her.
In addition to her parents, Elenor was predeceased by her beloved husband; her 5 brothers: Glenn, Wayne, Guy, Ralph; Dee; and her sister: Margaret. She is survived by her children: Joan Gilman (Arthur) , Barbara Stone (Jimmy), Charles Bennett (Debbie) ; her grandchildren: Jason Gilman, Joseph Gilman, Jesse Gilman, Kenneth Bressler, Christopher Windsor, Jacob Windsor, Sarah Bennett, Samantha Bennett, Jennifer Stone, Cynthia Beckler, and Alan Stone; and 11 great grandchildren.
In person services will be private, however, you are invited to watch via Live Streaming on Monday, February 8, 2021 at 11:00 AM. by visiting https://webcasts.lifetributes.com/1116471. Private burial will follow the services at Delaware Veterans Cemetery, Millsboro, DE.
