Eleanor R. Talley's Obituary
Eleanor R. Talley, age 77, of Rehoboth Beach, DE passed away peacefully at home surrounded by her family on Monday, January 11, 2010. Mrs. Talley was born July 21, 1932 in Chester, PA, daughter of the late John and Cora (Reynolds) Wetzel.
Mrs. Talley moved from Boothwyn, PA, to Rehoboth Beach nearly 20 years ago with her husband John. Mrs. Talley and her husband John loved travelling the world aboard cruise ships. Mrs. Talley was an avid quilter and loved spending time with her family, especially riding roller coasters with her grandchildren.
Mrs. Talley is survived by her husband of 58 years, John P. Talley; three daughters: Judith A. Grimm and husband Donald of Lancaster County, PA, Kathy M. Gaul and husband Michael of New London, PA and Debra J. Talley of Rehoboth Beach; two sisters: Nancy Powell of Aston, PA and Marie Milnes of Linwood, PA; five grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild.
Services will be scheduled at a later date. Arrangements are being handled by Parsell Funeral Homes & Crematorium, Lewes, DE.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorial contributions be made to VITAS Innovative Hospice Care,1016 N. Walnut Street, Milford, DE 19963.
