Edward C. Walters Jr.'s Obituary
Edward C. Walters, Jr. age 64 of Milton, DE, formerly of Delran, NJ, passed away on Sunday, February 4, 2018, at his home. He was born on Friday, June 26, 1953 in Camden, NJ, son of the late Edward Charles Walters, Sr. and Julia Winifred (Gallagher) Walters.
Mr. Walters worked a 20 plus year career at Fresenius dialysis in Delran, NJ where he manufactured saline products. He continued his career at Shop Rite foods in Delran for 10 years before retiring to the beach in 2016. It was here he had his ultimate man cave and could watch his beloved Eagles whenever he wanted. Mr. Walters could often be found at the movies, reading a new book or blasting his classic rock. He above all enjoyed the time spent with his family and friends, especially his niece, Colleen, who was his best friend. Mr. Walters will be deeply missed by all who knew him.
In addition to his parents, Mr. Walters was preceded in death by his god-daughter, Sheila Taylor Munson. He is survived by his two sisters: Julia Harrison and her husband Donald of Mantua, NJ and Geraldine Taylor and her husband Col. Thomas Taylor of New Hampshire; his nieces: Heather, Colleen and Tracy; his two nephews: Matthew and Luke; his four great nephews: Jonathan, Michael, Andrew and Benjamin; and his three great nieces: Elizabeth, Julianne and Eva.
