Ed volunteered for many years in the Radiation Oncology Dept. at FirstHealth Moore Regional Hospital in Pinehurst,NC. He was loved by all in the Department for his kindness and good humor. I particularly enjoyed his stories about his annual cross country road trip adventures! He was exceptionally kind and loved his extended family, and was loved by all!
We will miss him, and hold his memories in our hearts.

Mister Ed as he was called by our Radiation staff will always be remembered as not only a devoted volunteer but a good friend. I always looked forward to our lunch dates because I knew he would take me on a new journey to one of the places he had visited. I told him it was like going to these places myself(I don't travel much) as I would listen to his adventures intently. He loved his family as he would speak of them often and missed his late wife Barbara(the love of his life). He would often speak of his daughter(Mercedes-his word) and loved her apple pies and looked forward to receiving one when he could throw strong enough hints for one! Wish I could see him one more time to say good-bye but he knew how special he was to me.
I am saddened to learn of Mr. Saulsbury's passing. He was a wonderful teacher and a kind man who will be very much missed. Rest easy, Mr. Saulsbury.
What a wonderful uncle and man. The last of our senior generation. Our family was fortunate to have such great leadership. Gonna really is this guy.
Mr. Saulsbury was my 6th grade Social Studies teacher. He was a wonderful man.
