So sorry for the loss of our great shipmate, Ed Millett. He was so much a NAVY and family man. Our organization will forever be changed by his passing. He did so much to help and preserve the USS John R. Pierce's Sailors Organization.
Joey and I want to send our condolences to Dee and her entire family. May God Bless all of you.
Thanks, Ken & Jo Ryder
Wanda and family,
We are sorry to hear of Ed's passing. I am glad his path to Lewes and his kindness and devotion to Bethel Church allowed us an opportunity to know him. He will be missed by many.
Peace,
Clay & Susan Monroe
Ed was a great friend, I will miss sharing stories of when we were on the USS John R Pierce. Ed and I hosted a lot of Pierce reunions together, we argued a lot and when we settled down we would have a rum and coke and laugh about everything. I will surely miss him.

In celebration of Ed's life: Kaye and I enjoyed our time with Ed at the USS John R. Pierce DD753 reunions. Ed went above and beyond to make our 65th anniversary of the commissioning of the JRP reunion in Norfolk was the best and most memorable. It was a great success. Ed was a man who was dedicated to our God, his Family, and our Country. Over the years all the phone conversations and hours together at the reunions are precious time.
Ed, you will be missed, but not forgotten. I know you will be watching over our reunions to make sure they go well. Our prayers to Dee and the entire family.
