I was so sorry to learn of Dr. McDonough's passing. He was a very honorable and disciplined individual who was respected and revered by those who had the privilege of working with him. He was a great man with a kind heart, one who possessed a wealth of knowledge which he freely shared with so many, and his presence is sorely missed.
I pray that his family will find comfort and peace in their joyous memories during this difficult time.

Well done, ye good and faithful servant, go forth and enter into the kingdom of the Lord. Eternal rest grant unto him, O Lord, and let perpetual light shine upon him. May his soul rest in eternal peace, Amen.

We are so sorry to learn of Ed’s untimely passing. He and Kathy volunteered generously to the Lighthouse for Broken Wings Shelter over the last several years. Not only did they contribute food, but they offered their assistance as site coordinators responsible for collecting the food contributions from volunteers and transporting it to the shelter on a regular basis. We could always count on them to be there when help was needed. We pray that all the years of happy memories will serve to lift Kathy and the entire family in the difficult days ahead.

Doc, you were not only a mentor but an amazing person to look up to. I was privileged enough to work besides you at OCME in CT where you taught me so much about death investigation. You were kind and funny and an overall good person. You challenged me and made me think outside the box. Dr. McDonough will be remembered as a very well educated man who was always happy to share his knowledge with others. He opened his doors at the Stockley Center ME office and shared his wealth of knowledge with multiple interns we hosted at the Rehoboth Beach Police Department.
