What a life! We so enjoyed Ed's regular visits to the West Coast while attending AGU and visiting local universities. He reveled in being the "fun" Uncle and indulging his nieces and nephew much to his sister's chagrin. He was a brilliant scientist and I particularly valued his technical and career advice early in my professional life and as I prepared for retirement. Lot's of great memories of Uncle Eddie.
