Edward J. Goralski's Obituary
Edward J. Goralski, age 91, of Rehoboth Beach, DE, passed away peacefully on Thursday, February 16, 2012, at Brandywine Assisted Living, Rehoboth Beach. He was born in Chester, PA on Monday, January 24, 1921, son of the late Joseph and Mary (Samsel) Goralski. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife of 64 years, Helen B. (Newsom) Goralski ( 2009); two brothers: Walter and Stanley Goralski; and one sister, Helen Drozdowski.
Mr. Goralski was a resident of the Rehoboth Beach area for the past 12 years, relocating from Ridley Park, PA, where he retired from the British Petroleum Company as an inspector. He loved square dancing, going to the beach, swimming in the ocean, watching investment programs, and sports on TV. Ed never met a stranger, he loved everyone upon first meeting.
Mr. Goralski is survived by his daughter Judy B. Weir of Lewes, DE; two grandchildren: Jessica and Joseph Weir, both of Lewes; three nieces, one nephew and their families.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Thursday, February 23, 2012 at 11:00 AM at St. Edmond Catholic Church, 409 King Charles Avenue, Rehoboth Beach, DE. Interment will be private at Delaware Veterans Memorial Cemetery, Millsboro. Arrangements by Parsell Funeral Homes & Crematorium, Lewes.
