Edward W. Figurski's Obituary
Edward W. Figurski , age 91of Lewes, DE passed away peacefully on Wednesday, June 06, 2012, at Harbor Healthcare & Rehab. Center, in Lewes, DE. He was born March 22, 1920 in Cleveland, OH, son of the late Julia and Edward Figurski.
Mr. Figurski was an inspector with Civil Service where he began his career with Fort Miles in Lewes and concluded with the Dover Air Force Base.
He was a veteran of the United States Army and was a member of the American Legion Post # 17 in Lewes.
He was preceded in death by his wife Christina Figurski in 2000. He is survived by his daughter Diane Niksich of Lewes, DE, his son Chip Figurski of Georgetown, DE; grandsons Ronald Davidson of Tennessee and Jeffrey Davidson of Newark, DE; and several great grandchildren.
Funeral Services will be held on Monday, June 11, 2012, at 11:00 AM at Parsell Funeral Homes & Crematorium, Atkins-Lodge Chapel, 16961 Kings Highway, Lewes, DE where friends may call one hour prior to services. Burial will be at Henlopen Memorial Park, near Milton, DE.
