Edith Pearl Riley's Obituary
Edith Pearl Riley, age 89 of Lewes, DE, passed away on Friday, April 16, 2021 at Harbor Healthcare in Lewes. She was born on November 2, 1931 in Baltimore, MD, daughter of the late John and Rosalie (Porter) Smith.
Mrs. Riley enjoyed playing Bingo and camping with her family. She was a loving and devoted mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister, aunt, and friend who was loved by many and will be deeply missed by all who knew her.
In addition to her parents, Mrs. Riley was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Lewis Albert Riley; her sister, Cora Newman; her sons: Henry and Donald Cavey; her brothers: George, Buster, and Billy; her stepsons: Donald Riley and Leroy Riley; daughter in law, Wendy Cavey; and her stepdaughter, Ruth Riley Neill. She is survived by her sons: Robert Cavey and Charles Cavey and his wife Deborah Cavey; her daughter Elizabeth Morris; her brother Frank (Betty); and her many grandchildren, great-grandchildren, step grandchildren, step great-grandchildren, great-great grandchildren, step great-great grandchildren, nieces, and nephews.
A graveside service will be held on Friday, April 30, 2021 at 10:00 AM, at Dulaney Valley Memorial Gardens, 200 East Padonia Road, Timonium, MD. Arrangements have been entrusted to Parsell Funeral Homes & Crematorium, Lewes, DE.
