Jim and Twila Schmidt wish to extend our sincere sympathy to Duane's family at this time of his passing. We were friends of Duane and Leslie for 60 years, and at one point next door neighbors. We worked at the same company in Cambridge Maryland, bowled on the same two leagues, played cards, and laughed and joked together.
We visited them in Arizona on two occasions, and visited with them when they were back in Pa. We had many good times together. I was in Duane's car when he hit a deer one night come home from bowling. The deer was big - what a big crash that was.
Duane and Leslie will always be a part of our memories of good times.
Rest in peace my friend. You have certainly earned it.
