We love Doug so much and sorely miss him. Although we knew him for a few short years, our friendship with him was so uplifting, positive, inspiring and loads of fun.
What a great and loving person. We are with you Wayne, always! Mark and Kuang
Wayne, I had the pleasure of working with Doug while he was at ASHRAE and I worked for a related organization. His dedication to his work, his sharp wit and ebullience made it a joy to work with him. But it also was clear that his heart was with you and the live the two of you had made together. Please accept my sincere condolences on his passing.
Wayne, My heartfelt condolences for the loss of your partner Douglas. Cherish the memories you have of him..for they are the souvenirs of a wonderful man. With my sympathy and prayers, Carl Grimm
We had the pleasure of knowing Doug only a relatively short time, but we shared enough time with him to see him as a devoted husband, a happy man who enjoyed life to the fullest. He was equally at home entertaining the blue-haired ladies of Palm Beach and sharing his home and garden with Wayne in Delaware. We will remember his fun-loving spirit and great sense of humor. Our heartfelt condolences go out to Wayne and the rest of his family.

Dear Wayne,There are no words to describe the sadness we feel. Doug was such a wonderful and kind person, always ready with a quick smile or a good natured zinger. He will live in our hearts and memories forever. Gone much too soon.

Oh My!! My feelings are beyond words. I saw him last at Beebe and he said he was doing well so this came as a shock to us, but then I probably knew his condition was not good, but just like him he did not let it be known. He still smiled and we chatted what an amazing person. We will think of him often.
