Douglas Wayne King's Obituary
Douglas Wayne King, 78, of Millsboro, DE, passed away peacefully at his home on October 13, 2025. Doug was born in Washington, D.C., on January 15, 1947, the son of the late Henry Russell King and June Lorraine (Cohill) King.
Doug moved to Delaware in 2005 from Southern Maryland. He was an avid golfer and a devoted fan of the Washington Commanders football team.
He is survived by his loving wife of 52 years, Carol Diana (Johnson) King; his sister, Jo Ann Kohler of Woodstock, MD; his brother-in-law, Mark Kohler; three nephews, Brett, Matthew, and Jason Kohler; one niece, Jenna Kohler; and his brother, Russell King of Michigan.
Services will be private.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions in memory of Doug may be made to an animal rescue organization or a charity of your choice.
