Dorothy G. Webster's Obituary
Dorothy "Dottie" G. Webster, age 90 of Milton, DE, passed away peacefully on Sunday, September 23, 2012 at Kent General Hospital, Dover, DE. She was born May 31, 1922 in Helena, MT, daughter of the late Nelson Fisk and Dorothy (Mills) Graves. She was also preceded in death by her grandson Darrell Emery in 2011.
Mrs. Webster lived most of her life in the DC area moving from Bethesda in 1996 to Delaware with her daughter and family; her most recent residence was Emeritus at Dover, Assisted Living. While attending the University of Maryland, Dottie was a sister in Alpha Xi Delta Soroity, Beta Eta Chapter. Dottie enjoyed a 30 year career as a Sales Rep for Woodward & Lothrop Department stores, Chevy Chase, MD. After retiring, she worked for Bruce's Variety Store in Bethesda. Dottie loved shopping, sitting on the beach and on her back porch. Her favorite pasttime was spending time with her beloved grandson Darrell. She was a loving mother, grandmother and great-grandmother.
She is survived by her daughter, Nancy W. Emery and husband Bill of Milton; granddaughter, Jennifer Emery Kropp and husband Bryan of Perkasie, PA; and great-grandson, Nathan Kropp.
Services will be held at a later date. Arrangements by Parsell Funeral Homes & Crematorium, Lewes, DE.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorial contributions be made to the Alzheimer's Association, Delaware Valley Chapter, 399 Market Street, Ste. 102, Philadephia, PA 19106.
