Mrs. Vessels was a wonderful teacher. Her enthusiasm and excitement for learning was contagious. I still can remember meeting her in 1975 as a new student at Cape. Definitely my favorite teacher. Sending prayers to the family.
I was a new student to Cape Henlopen High School as a junior in 1974. I was lucky enough to have Mrs. Vessels as my teacher. She welcomed me warmly and made me feel included. I will always remember her happy, positive manner, even when she was being firm. What a sweetheart!
Mrs. Vessels was one of my favorite teachers at Cape Henlopen High. Her intellect, creativity and enthusiasm teaching numerous science classes made learning fun. Regretably, I will be out of the country and unable to attend her service, but she will be truly missed!
She was the teacher in high school that made the biggest impact on my life. I am successful in what I do today in part due to her kindness and ability make learning fun. Wishing the family peaceful memories.

I am so sad my dear friend is no longer with us. She has been such a huge inspiration to me. She had the most amazingly beautiful blue eyes I have ever seen. When she smiled, her whole face lit up. I miss her already.
