Dorothy R. Perdue's Obituary
Dorothy R. (Tripler) Perdue, age 90 of Lewes, DE, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, February 8, 2012 at her residence. She was born in Easttown, PA on August 24, 1921, daughter of the late George Tripler and Helen Brazier. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband of 72 years, Carvil Howard Perdue (2011), her son, David Perdue, who died in infancy, and one brother-in-law, Leon Karr.
Mrs. Perdue was a resident of Lewes for the past 24 years, coming from Kimberton, PA. She attended the West Chester schools and the United Church of Christ in Chester Springs, PA. She enjoyed crocheting, painting, ceramics and was an avid reader. She will be sorely missed by her family and friends.
Mrs. Perdue is survived by one daughter, Lois Kern of Lewes, DE; two sons: Carvil H. Perdue of Chipley, FL and Larry Perdue of Pottstown, PA; two granddaughters: Diana Salkovitz and Diane Perdue; two great grandchildren: Jake and Jordyn Salkovitz; and one sister, Constance Karr of Zephyrhills, FL.
A Memorial Service and interment will be scheduled for a later date in West Chester, PA.
The family suggests Memorial Contributions to: Delaware Hospice, 100 Patriots Way, Milford, DE 19963.
