Doris Lehman's Obituary
Doris M. Lehman, age 89, of Milton, DE, formerly of Lewes, DE passed away at her residence on Friday Aug. 2, 2013. Mrs. Lehman was born in Lewes, DE on Aug. 19, 1923, daughter of the late Elmer O. and Elizabeth Blizzard Mitchell. In addition to her parents she was predeceased by her son Kenneth C. Lehman.
For many years she and her late husband James M. Lehman owned and operated Lehmans Market on Market Street in Lewes, DE. She was a devoted mother, grandmother and great grandmother whom will be deeply missed by her family.
She is survived by her son James M. Lehman and his partner Mike Dalton of Milton, DE; 3 granddaughters, Gretchen Mullin of Danbury, CT, Casey Berger of Millsboro, DE, Kelly Miller of Roswell, GA; great granddaughters Cate Mullin of Danbury, CT, Rebecca Berger and Elizabeth Berger both of Millsboro, and two grandsons, Will Mullin and Sean Mullin both of Danbury, CT.
Memorial services will be held on August 16, 2013 at 10:00 AM at St. Peters Episcopal Church, 2nd Street, Lewes, DE. Burial will be private at St. Peters Cemetery Pilottown.
In lieu of flowers contributions may be made to Delaware Hospice, 100 Patriots Way, Milford, DE 19966.
