Doreen Marie Barry's Obituary
Doreen Marie Barry passed away suddenly on October 13, 2022, at the age of 66. She was born on August 30, 1956, to Torrey and Dorothy Jacobsen.
Doreen was the oldest of seven siblings. She had a passion to take care of others and loved being a nurse for most of her professional career. Doreen was incredibly selfless and always put others first.She was married to her best friend John for 42 years. They enjoyed traveling, visiting family and going out to dinner with friends. Doreen was an amazing mother to John, Kevin, Erin, and Kaitlin and always thought of Jen, Jessica, Johnny, and Jerry as her own children. Her pride and joy were her grandchildren: Colin, Emerson, Parker, Wynn, Logan, Charlotte with more on the way. Doreen had an infectious smile and gave the most genuine hugs. To know her is to love her, if you loved her, she loved you and you were truly blessed.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Tuesday, October 25, 2022, at 11:00 AM at St. Jude the Apostle Catholic Church, 125 Tulip Dr. #1689, Lewes, DE 19958, where a viewing will begin at 10:00 AM.
