Well, another Easter is here and you are not (though you are all around me and in my heart). Every Easter makes me laugh about how on Easter Monday, Mommy and Nanie would sneak you into Nanie's bedroom, so I didn't know it, and let you stay home from school...while making me go!!! 12:00 a.m. Christmas Day...no "Merry Christmas, Susie" phone call. There will be none at 12:00 a.m. New Year Day, either. No matter where she was, you could always count on that call from Donna. Three years seem more like an eternity since Donna has been gone...though she is around me, in all things good, and everything I see and do. I hope she is dancing up a storm in Heaven!!! It is 2 years, today, but it seems like an eternity since you have been gone. You never forgot marking any occasion, for anyone, so I will try do the same for you. Death changes everything. Time passed after death changes nothing. I still miss the sound of your voice, your laughter and creative ways of making me laugh, the wisdom in your advice, the stories you shared, and just being in your presence.
