Donna H. Jones' Obituary
Donna H. Jones, age 78, of Bridgeville, DE, passed away on Thursday, June 30, 2016 at, Nanticoke Memorial Hospital, Seaford, DE. She was born in Charleston, WV, on Monday, May 30, 1938, daughter of the late William and Ruth (Heater) Hinton.
Mrs. Jones was a member of the Seaford Elks Lodge. She loved to hang out with her friend, Noreen Martin and go shopping and to lunch with her. She also enjoyed traveling on cruises and spending time with her family during the holidays.
In addition to her parents, Mrs. Jones was preceded in death by her loving husband, Mason Byrd Jones in 2004. She is survived by her two sons: William M. Jones (Diane) of Waldorf, MD and Robert N. Jones of Bridgeville, DE; her brother, William Hinton of Scott Depot, WV; her sister, Barbara Chambers of Orlando, FL; her nephews: Christian Chambers of Honolulu, HI, and Peter and James Hinton, of West Virginia; along with a host of other family members who will miss her dearly.
Funeral Services will be held on Friday, July 8, 2016, at 11:00 AM, at Lee Funeral Home, 6633 Old Alexandria Ferry Rd, Clinton, MD, where friends may call one hour prior to services. Burial will follow the Services at Washington National Cemetery, Suitland, MD.
Friends may also call on Wednesday, July 6, 2016 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM, at Parsell Funeral Homes and Crematorium, Hardesty Chapel, 202 Laws Street, Bridgeville, DE.
Memorial contributions may be made to the American Diabetes Association, 100 West 10th Street, Suite 1002, Wilmington, DE 19801.
