I met Donna in 2022 when I drove a bus for the Moorings. We had an instant connection. I left in late 2023,but we continued to text one another until recently. We shared a love of animals and I would send her pictures of the many animals that frequent my property. She would also send me pictures when she could. I was so enamored of her spirit! Not once did she ever complain. Such a positive, loving person! I am a so glad we met and had a kindred connection. My condolences to Robert and all of her family and friends.
I met Donna in 1997, and immediately connected. Her independent spirit, love of children, willingness to get dirty camping or hop on a boat for a few days, and then turn around a cook a gourmet meal, all made her such a fun and easygoing person to be around. Whether it was barbeques on her back deck, or giving neighborhood children rides on her golf cart, Donna had a gift of making others feel welcome. As MS started to do its nasty work, Donna was a fighter. She learned to cook and write with her left hand. By jerry-rigging her car and attaching a scooter trailer, she figured out how to keep driving far longer than anyone expected. And through it all, she always managed to laugh. I will miss her determination, spirit, and love she freely shared with all. Rest in peace, my friend.
Donna was a bright and shining light in our condo happy hour group and Village of Five Points Community.
Always full of energy and positivity!
The way she lived her life was inspirational.
She will definitely be missed by all that knew her.

Donna and I became neighbors and best buddies in 2011 when we moved to the VOFP condos full time where she had been living. She was the one who introduced me to Ladies Night every Wednesday at Outlet Liquors, among other outings we went on. She was also a permanent fixture at our Fish On happy hour every Friday afternoon for over a decade. Our condo neighbors and friends were a major reason we decided to move here full time. Donna was the linchpin of the "Village People."
Kevin and I will miss her infectious smile and spirit. It won't be the same without her, but Donna's spirit will live forever in our hearts.
