Working with Don was a total pleasure! He was smart, knew his stuff, and had the sense to always be a couple of steps ahead of his boss. But he was even better just to be with: always ready for fun, witty and about as friendly a person as you could hope to meet. Haven't seen him for a long time but I know that I -- and the world -- will be just a bit worse off without Don around. My love and deepest sympathy to all his family and friends on this untimely and unfair event.

I was so saddened to hear of Don's passing. Although we haven't been together for a long time, I will always remember Don's wit and his love of life. Our time in Ankara was made so much happier because you and he were there.
