Donald L. Irwin "Duck"'s Obituary
Donald L. Irwin “Duck”, age 63 of Millsboro, De passed away Tuesday, December 18, 2018, surrounded by his loving family. He was born January 9, 1955 in Wilmington, DE, son of the late Charles “Froggy” and Madeline Irwin.
Duck worked in the steel industry as Crane Operator and Steel Fabricator for over 35 years. He was graduate of Conrad High School, Wilmington, DE. He loved any day out on the water, boating, fishing, crabbing or just hanging out in the bay with family and friends. He loved golf cart riding through the neighborhood and visiting with the neighbors.
He will always be remembered as a fun, loving gentle soul ready to lend a hand at any time.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother, Charles “Buck” Irwin. Duck will be lovingly remember by his wife, Liz; his daughters, Laurie Reel (Scott) and Shelley Irwin; his granddaughters, Jessica, Nicole, Addison and Lexi; his brother, Joseph; several nieces, nephews and cousins.
A Celebration of Duck's Life will be held on Thursday, December 27, 2018 at 11:00 AM at Parsell Funeral Homes & Crematorium, Atkins-Lodge Chapel, 16961 Kings Highway, Lewes, DE 19958, where friends may visit beginning at 10:00 AM. Interment will be private.
