Don, Joan and family lived on Mercer Pike in the early 1960s. My most vivid memory of Don occurred when a neighbor complained of having a snake in her fireplace. Don fabricated a loop and captured the snake.

Peter and I were talking last night about how much we enjoyed Donny's company when he came to visit us shortly after we were married. We listened to him tell wonderful and funny stories about the family and shared a lot of laughter.
