Donald B. Fletcher's Obituary
Donald B. Fletcher, age 85 of Rehoboth Beach, DE passed away on Tuesday, February 7, 2017, at Beebe Healthcare, in Lewes, DE. He was born Saturday, May 9, 1931 in New York City, NY, son of the late Harold and Louise (Wernert) Fletcher.
Mr. Fletcher worked for 32 years in the postage meter business for Pitney Bowes in Connecticut. He proudly served in the United States Army during the Korean War. He and his wife, Joan retired to Rehoboth Beach 20 years ago where he became a member of All Saints Church. In his spare time he enjoyed golfing at Marsh Creek in Lewes.
Mr. Fletcher is survived by his loving wife of 64 years, Joan Fletcher; his three sons: Stephen Fletcher (Suzanne), Keith Fletcher (Melanie) and Devon Scott Fletcher (Andrea); his daughter, Lynn Anne Milone (Theodore); his four grandchildren: Haylee Malone, Sally Fletcher, Rachel Fletcher and Jordan Fletcher; his two step-grandchildren, Alex Tribble and Jessica Ott; and his two brothers, Harold and Wallace Fletcher.
A Memorial Service will be held on Friday, February 10, 2017 at 11:00 AM, at All Saints Episcopal Church, 18 Olive Avenue, Rehoboth Beach, DE 19971. Interment will be private.
Memorial contributions may be made in Mr. Fletcher's name to All Saints Episcopal Church at the address listed above.
