Dolores Mary Duricek's Obituary
Dolores Mary Duricek, affectionately known as “Dolly”, age 89 of Millsboro, DE passed away on Saturday, November 5, 2022. She was born on August 14, 1933, in Wilmington, DE, daughter of the late John and Stephania (Cylc) Zielinski.
Dolly had many varied interests and hobbies. Residents of Pot Nets since its beginning, she and her husband enjoyed many summers there boating and spending time with their children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren. She also enjoyed going to the casino to play slot machines, doing crossword puzzles, and sudoku. Everyone knew not to come over and talk to Dolly when her favorite show was on - The Young and the Restless. She could often be found sitting on her deck or in the garage, watching her family and friends pick and eat crabs while sipping a glass of wine. Above all, she loved her family passionately and enjoyed being home and spending time with those she held most dear. Life will never be the same without her. Loved by many, Dolly will be deeply missed by all who had the good fortune to know her.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Charles J. Duricek; her sisters: Ceil, Helen, Sophie, Irene, Eleanor, Evelyn, and Florence; and her brother, John. She is survived by her children: Debbie Gentile (Ernie), Carol Crisconi (Rocky), Charles Duricek Jr. (Teresa), Susan Correa (Pete), and Mark Duricek (Kristine); her grandchildren: James, Michael (Candace), Jennifer, Lauren (Brandon), Kelly, Jason (Vicky), Erik, Tori, and Markie (Kristy); and her 6 great-grandchildren.
