Dianne Marie Boyle's Obituary
It is with profound sadness that we announce the sudden passing of Dianne Marie Boyle (née Ceccoli), loving wife, mother, and grandmother. Dianne, 80, passed from this life to her eternal home after a brief illness on March 28, 2025, with her loving husband, Morgan, of 59 years by her side.
Born June 7, 1944, in Wilkes-Barre, Pennsylvania, to Nello and Lena Ceccoli (née Shalanca), Dianne graduated from GAR High School, class of 1962, and Wilkes College in 1966 with a Bachelor of Science in Elementary Education. After working as a schoolteacher for several years, Dianne dedicated her life to her husband, children, and grandchildren, ensuring all were loved and well-fed.
Dianne enjoyed spending time at the beach, visiting lighthouses, traveling, volunteering at the USO, reading books to children at the local elementary school, and knitting/crocheting hats and blankets for newborn babies at Bayhealth Hospital in Delaware. Her greatest joy came from spending time with her family, especially spoiling her grandchildren, Bryan and Katie, with whom the sun rose and set for Dianne.
She is preceded in death by her father, Nello Ceccoli; mother, Lena Ceccoli; and brother, Ronald Ceccoli. Dianne is survived by her husband, Morgan Jr.; children, Morgan (Susan), Bryan (Heidi); and her grandchildren, Bryan and Katie.
A celebration of life will be held at a later date to be announced by her family.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the American Heart Association, https://www.heart.org/en/get-involved/ways-to-give .
