Diane Isabel Stuttard's Obituary
Diane Isabel Stuttard, age 93 of Georgetown, DE, passed away on Wednesday, October 04, 2017, at Harrison House in Georgetown, DE. She was born Saturday, November 03, 1923 in Glasgow, Scotland, daughter of the late John and Margaret (Lang) Kirkpatrick.
Diane emigrated to Canada in 1930 and graduated from high school in Windsor, Ontario. She worked for Hiram Walkers in Windsor and the J.L. In recent years, Diane resided at Harrison House where she enjoyed playing Monday Bingo, going on trips, and all kinds of musical activities with tapping feet and clapping hands. More than anything, however, Diane treasured time spent with her adored family. She was a loving and devoted wife, mother, grandmother, and friend. She was loved by many and will be missed by all who knew her.
In addition to her parents, Stuttard was preceded in death her beloved husband, Stan; and her sisters: Margaret (Rita) and Agnes (Bunny).
She is survived by her son, Stanley (Bill); her daughter and Bingo partner, Heather; her grandson, Scott and his wife Stacy; and her great-grandchildren: Sarah Margaret and Sean Scott.
Diane's family would like to extend their heartfelt gratitude to the staff of Harrison House for giving Diane the best care possible.
